Approach
A clear operating method without unnecessary ceremony.
Scope follows the decision, not a catalogue of consulting products.
The method is consistent across practices: establish the facts, identify the real decision, make the trade-offs explicit, build the response and stay close enough to execution that the recommendation survives contact with the business.
The engagement method
Six stages, one accountable thread
- 01
Establish the decision context
Define the decision to be made, who owns it, the constraints around it, the timetable and what a good outcome is actually worth.
- 02
Build the fact base
Reconcile the financial, tax, contractual and operating information before taking a position. Disagreement about the facts is resolved before debate about the answer.
- 03
Identify constraints and options
Frame the realistic paths, including the uncomfortable ones, with explicit trade-offs across value, risk, cash, time and reversibility.
- 04
Design the response
Translate the chosen path into a model, workplan, governance rhythm or structure detailed enough to execute.
- 05
Support implementation
Stay involved through the period where the plan becomes operating reality: management cadence, stakeholder communication, programme governance and course correction.
- 06
Measure and adapt
Track performance against the original case and change the plan when evidence changes, rather than rewriting the narrative after the event.
The working relationship
Direct, senior and explicit about what the firm will and will not do.
Every engagement has a named senior lead accountable for the mandate end to end. Teams are configured around the actual work rather than a pre-set staffing ratio, and client meetings are intended to make decisions rather than create status theatre.
Deliverables are specified in advance. Regulated, legal, audit or jurisdiction-specific work that sits outside the firm’s scope is identified early. Where Thyor is not the right adviser for a situation, the firm says so before a client spends time or money building an unnecessary engagement.
Next step
A material situation deserves a direct conversation.
Share the outline and the decision in front of you. A senior adviser will respond directly and confidentially.
